Innovation Grants

All Innovation Grant contracts must include:

1. Service to be transferred and the effective date of the transfer
2. Signatures by all parties to the contract dated on or after November 13, 2024
3. End date of the contract (must be for a minimum of three years).
4. Total cost of providing the service by all contracted counties, municipalities, or tribes in the calendar year prior to the effective date of transfer
5. Amount that the transferor(s) will pay to the transferee(s) to perform the service for the entire term of the contract
6. Allocation of grant moneys between all counties, municipalities, or tribes that are party to the contract

Note: For public safety, fire protection, and emergency service - a stipulation that the service being transferred will maintain an appropriate​ level of such services
