Impacted businesses may request an extension on all sales and use tax returns and payments with an original due date of July 22, 2024. The granted extension will be until July 31, 2024. Request extensions through DOR's My Tax Account, or via email to

Businesses with an early monthly filing frequency that seek an extension will not be charged late filing fees, interest nor lose the retailer discount if their June sales and use tax return and payment are received by July 31, 2024.​ ​ ​Extensions must be requested prior to the end of day July 22, 2024.
