2024 Statement of Assessment – Changes to File Transfer Format Announced

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR), State and Local Finance Division would like to inform you of changes to the 2024 Statement of Assessment (SOA) file transfer layout.

Your organization has been identified as a potential vendor that may be interested in responding to this RFB. DOR will send another email when this RFB posting is available to view

File Transfer Layout

  • Available on our website
  • Text file needs to conform to these alignment specifications and updated format
  • Due date – June 10, 2024, or after your Board of Review
  • SOA file transfer – available late April 2024

2024 SOA File Layout Changes

  • Requires field nos. 54, 55, 57, 58 and 59 be all zeros – because locally assessed personal property reporting is no longer required
  • Field names
    • Updated PFC rate – for field nos. 65, 66/67 and 68
    • Removed "and Personal" – for field nos. 109, 112, 115, 118, 121, 124, 127, 130, 133, 136, and 139
