Help Keep Your Client's My Tax Account Secure

Many tax professionals use My Tax Account, the Department of Revenue's free online business tax system, to manage their clients' accounts. For security purposes, it is important that all users, including tax professionals, register and sign in to My Tax Account using their own logon ID and password.

You can register for My Tax Account to create a logon ID, password and secret question for yourself, and then request third party access to your clients' accounts. As a result, your clients' changes to their logon ID, password or secret question do not affect your access to their accounts.
