Manufacturing Administrative Districted Realignment

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR), State and Local Finance Division would like to inform you of the manufacturing administrative district realignments in the counties listed below.

Details

With these realignments, DOR can:

• Better align with state-prescribed statutes
• Improve grouping based on centers of economic influence
• Support the logistics of our fieldwork

County Realignments

• Effective July 2026 for the 2027 assessment year
• County realignments include:
  • Adams (01) and Juneau (29) – moving from Eau Claire district to Madison district
  • Green Lake (24) and Marquette (39) – moving from Green Bay district to Madison district
  • Portage (49) – moving from Green Bay district to Eau Claire district
  • Waukesha (67) – Madison district's portion moving to Milwaukee district so entire county is in the Milwaukee district
