General Information

• Due date – July 15, 2026
• Form AT-827 – located on our website
• Municipal clerk – e-file through MyDORGov

Reporting Details

• Review information on our Municipal Retail License Report web page
• You must:
  • Ensure retail licenses reported to DOR are current throughout the year – includes reporting new licenses issued and business closures
  • Report – Alcohol Beverage Retail Licenses and Cigarette, Tobacco, and Electronic Vaping Device Retail Licenses
  • File this report even if you do not have any active licenses
• Bulk filing is available for municipalities with 50 or more licenses to report

What's New?

Federal law requires the Department of Health Services (DHS) to perform annual inspections of tobacco retailers.

• Starting in 2026 – DHS is now using the list published on DOR's website instead of utilizing the University of Wisconsin Survey Research Center to request the tobacco retailers list from each municipality
