MyDORGov – Now with Enhanced Access Request Options, Plus Recent Webinar Recording/Q&A Available

May 29, 2025

To: Municipal Clerks, Municipal Treasurers, Municipal Clerk/Treasurers, Assessors, County Treasurers, County Clerks, Special Districts, Technical Colleges, Utility Companies, Wisconsin Tribes, TIF/TID

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR), State and Local Finance Division is pleased to announce a new significant enhancement to MyDORGov, our e-filing system for local government finance and property assessment forms.

Access Request Enhancement

Based on your suggestions, we upgraded our access permissions to better meet your needs. Previously, within MyDORGov, you could only provide "all access" to other users allowing them to file on your behalf. Now, we offer expanded MyDORGov access choices.

NEW – Available access types:

  • View – view form only
  • Edit – view, edit, save form
  • All access – view, edit, save, submit form

What does this mean?

  • If you would like to become authorized on behalf of an officeholder, you can ask for a specific access type in your request
  • Officeholders can choose which access type they would like to grant a user authorized on their behalf
  • If a user previously had access to file on an officeholder's behalf (before this upgrade), they will continue to have "all access" and the officeholder has the option to change their access type if they choose

For more detailed information – watch the recent MyDORGov Webinar recording (see below) and review user information – Request Access.
