The Wisconsin Department of Revenue will present a half day seminar for sales and use tax basics for contractors. The seminar will provide an overview of Wisconsin sales and use tax laws for contractors and is designed for business owners, bookkeepers, purchasing agents and accountants who need a working knowledge of Wisconsin laws. Topics include:

  • What's taxable?
  • Exceptions to the general tax rules and exemptions that may apply
  • How and when to use or accept an exemption certificate
