Tax Appeals Commission Move Announcement

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue would like to share the following information provided by the Wisconsin Tax Appeals Commission.

It is our pleasure to announce that we will be moving the Tax Appeals Commission to a new location in downtown Madison this spring. 

We will be moving on April 18, 2022, and starting business at the new office on April 21, 2022. Please update your records with our new address:

We will collect mail at both locations from February 21-April 15, 2022. However, mail sent to our current location that arrives after April 15 will be forwarded by the USPS and may be subject to delays beyond our control. Our statutory deadlines generally depend on the date that we receive appeals, so please keep our move dates in mind if you have such deadlines approaching.

Hand deliveries may continue at our University Ave address until 4:30 pm on April 15, 2022. Such deliveries will be suspended from April 18-20 while our office is being moved. Beginning on April 21, 2022, hand deliveries must come to our new office on East Wilson.
