The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to inform you of new resources available on the DOR website – under Resources on the Municipal and County web pages.

Levy Limits

If your county or municipality plans to exceed its levy limit by referendum or resolution, review the DOR fact sheet to ensure you complete the process as required by state law.

Municipal Room Taxes

Municipalities imposing room taxes electronically file (e-file) the Room Tax Report (Form SL-304) with DOR annually. The contact information submitted on the e-filed reports is now available as its own report on the Municipal Room Taxes web page. Users can now download a PDF, Excel spreadsheet or JSON file to easily view and use this contact information.
