The department has received a large volume of vouchers with missing, incomplete or incorrect OCR scan lines. There may be a delay or error in posting the payment to the correct taxpayer account when a voucher has a bad OCR scan line. When remitting a payment on a software provided payment voucher, be sure that the OCR scan line is populated with the correct characters using the correct font. See Guidelines for Reproduced and Substitute Tax Forms for the voucher specifications. If the software is not able to produce a correct voucher, you may use the department's fill in voucher form at: 2012 Individual Income Tax Forms.
