​​The first dollar credit provides direct property tax relief as a credit for Wisconsin property owners on their property tax bill. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue distributes these payments annually on the fourth Monday in July. The county treasurer should distribute these amounts no later than August 20 (sec. 79.10 (7m)(c), Wis. Stats.).​
