      Parcel numbers
      - Provide formatted parcels numbers with punctuation (ex: "." and "-")
- See the DOR 
            current parcel number formats for each county
- Acknowledgement emails contain parcel numbers when a XML does not meet the schema requirements
- Use consistent parcel number formats to enable DOR's use of the XML rolls (ex: processing of Real Estate Transfer Returns, chargebacks, sharing of omitted taxes, Tax Incremental District (TID) processing)

      - Schema has a specific field called NoPhysicalAddress and allows, either: 
            - Select the NoPhysicalAddress option, 
                  or
- Provide a standard street, city, state, zip

- Send DOR your public (redacted) data to maintain consistency with providing any data
Prepare the File
- 
      Name each XML with its corresponding DOR Co-muni code – to improve the XML names and quickly identify which file belongs to a specific municipality
- 
      Submit one real estate XML and one personal property XML for each municipality – to make the XML easier to locate when working together to troubleshoot issues
- 
      Upload the county -  send a zip file with all municipality XML included 
      - Send a single zipped file for each real estate XML and each personal property XML
  
 
- Make sure the zipped file only contains xml files
  
 
- Do not include internal folders in your zip file
  
 
Transfer the Test Data
   Send the file with file transfer protocol (FTP).
   Steps:
- Select your county (Cnty asmt rolls) from the dropdown list 
- Select "Yes" for "Is this a test file?" 
- Select your file with the browse option
- Transfer the file
- You will receive acknowledgement response after your individual file(s) processed
Transfer the Data
   Send the file with file transfer protocol (FTP)
   Steps
- Select your county (Cnty asmt rolls) from the dropdown list 
- Select "No" for "Is this a test file?" 
- Select your file with the browse option
- Transfer the file
Acknowledgments
- DOR sends acknowledgments by email 
- The acknowledge email, stating we accepted or rejected the file, contains the file name as it is stored in our system 
- If the XML does not meet the schema requirements, the acknowledgement will provide both the Record Number and the Parcel Id causing the reject 
- Contains parcel numbers when an XML does not meet the schema requirements
- When you contact DOR staff, include this file name (from our email response) to help expedite troubleshooting, especially when the file does not use the Co-muni code or if the number or file contains an error
DOR Review
- Test files are processed individually
- To help us respond to questions, DOR's acknowledgement email contains the file name as it is stored in our system
