Farmland Preservation Workshops

Do you work with farmers or agricultural landowners? Do your clients currently claim the farmland preservation tax credit? If not, should they be claiming? The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is hosting six workshops around the state to answer your questions about the farmland preservation program. Come learn about the requirements of claiming the credit including which schedule to use. We will be joined by County Land Conservation staff who will provide guidance on ensuring that your clients are meeting the conservation compliance standards associated with claiming the credit.

Contact DATCPWorkingLands@wisconsin.gov or (608) 224-4621 with questions.
