Please do not share your My Tax Account (MTA) logon Id or password with others. If you need access to another person's account, create your own MTA logon Id and password and request access to the account with their permission.
Only persons with registered logon ids are given MTA support when contacting the department for a password reset, account maintenance and filing and payment issues. Sharing logon Ids removes accountability for actions or lack of actions in MTA.
Note that the top portion of payment vouchers you create for customers or confirmation screen prints you may send to your client include your logon ID. At this time, the department does not mask the logon ID because it is an internal identifier for the department and businesses with many MTA users. We ask that you white out your logon ID when sharing such documents with your clients.
