The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) posted the following 2017 forms on our
website:
- Form SL-202c: County Levy Limit Worksheet
- Form SL-202m: Municipal Levy Limit Worksheet
Form Information

Due date – December 15, 2017
- Must electronically file (e-file) the worksheet
- Use the worksheet as a tool during the budget process to determine your allowable levy limit
before adopting the budget
- If your municipality or county passed a resolution or referendum to exceed the allowable levy limit, you must attach the appropriate documents when e-filing
- Review the updated
County Levy Limit Worksheet Instructions or
Municipal Levy Limit Worksheet Instructions before completing the e-file form
Getting Started (to e-file)
New platform!
- Levy limit worksheet now requires email authorization
- Same reporting requirements with a new look and feel
- Works with any browser
Accessing the form:
- The first time you access the form on our
website, you are asked to enter your email address
- Go to the email message with the subject "Login authorization link" and click the provided link
- Select the Municipal or County Levy Limit worksheet and begin filing
Filing the form:
- Complete the form – you must enter an amount in each required field
- You can save your work periodically
- After submitting, print and/or save a copy for your records
