Note: Disregard this message if you do not have a Tax Incremental District (TID) in your municipality.

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) would like to remind you of the following fee and deadline.

TID certification administrative fee(s):

• $150 administrative fee due for each active TID
• Due date: April 17, 2018
• Use My Tax Account to pay the fee(s)
  • Your municipality must pay the fee before DOR calculates the tax increment (sec. 66.1105(6)(ae), 66.1106(7)(am), and 60.85(6)(am), Wis. Stats.)
  • After you pay the administrative fee, the TID is considered active and DOR calculates the increment for 2018
• If the administrative fee is not paid, your TID(s) will not have tax increment payable in 2019 for 2018 taxes

Terminating a TID

• If a TID terminates by April 17, 2018, an administrative fee is not due
• Email the TID number and termination date to tif@wisconsin.gov and we will adjust the total fee due by your municipality
