This is a reminder from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) that the municipalities listed on the 2017 SOA Non-Filer Report have not submitted their 2017 SOA as of July 31, 2017.

When is the SOA due?

The SOA is due the second Monday in June or after the municipality's Board of Review (BOR).
If your BOR is:

  • Complete – submit the SOA immediately
  • Not complete – submit the SOA as soon as possible after it is complete. You do not need to notify DOR of a late BOR.

To electronically file (e-file) your SOA, use either of the following:

Why is timely filing important?

  • DOR uses SOA values to certify school district, technical college and special district equalized values; this process begins September 1
  • If we do not receive a completed SOA, we will estimate the assessment data based on the prior year SOA values to certify those equalized values
  • DOR posts all final SOAs on our website, including manufacturing values; this process begins in October
