website:

Personal Property Aid Adjustment
- 2019 municipal and county levy limits were reduced by your upcoming 2020 personal property aid distribution
- Your 2019 personal property aid amount may be different from your 2020 aid amount based on the electronically filed Form PA-550:
Personal Property Value Report submitted by your Wisconsin municipality
Increase for Single Family Residential Dwellings
- New Sec. D, Line S – Allowable increase of $1,000 for each occupancy permit issued in 2018 for qualifying single-family residential dwellings that are:
- On a parcel of no more than 0.25 acre in a city or village
- On a parcel of no more than 1.0 acre in a town
- Sold in 2018 for no more than 80 percent of the median price of a new residential dwelling in the municipality for 2018
- Note: Amounts levied must be used only for police protective services, fire protective services or emergency medical services. If levied, your municipality cannot decrease its spending for these services compared to the prior year.
- If you report an amount on this line, in Sec. E, Line 4 attach documentation including a listing of the qualifying dwellings (permit identifier, parcel number, acreage) and the 2018 median price of a new residential dwelling in your municipality
