2018 Summary of Changes

  • All changes do not impact those currently compliant with the 2017 schema
  • Counties may submit all municipalities at one time using two separate files – one for Personal Property and one for Real Property
    • Counties can continue to submit one municipality at a time
  • Optional:
    • Situs address (address location is required, but the following elements are optional):
      • City
      • State
      • Zip code
    • Assessment and Tax Rolls:
      • Occupational tax
      • State assessed telco
      • Forest taxable (Personal Property only)
  • Send DOR your public (redacted) data to maintain consistency with providing any data

Prepare the File

  • Name each file with its corresponding DOR Co-muni code – it will improve the file names and quickly identify which file belongs to a specific municipality
  • Upload one municipality at a time – this makes the file easier to locate when working together to troubleshoot issues
    • New for 2018 – you can submit one county for real estate and one county for personal property
