Instructions For Completing The eP-520
(for use with Excel versions prior to 2003 "Treasurer's Transmittal Worksheet" Instructions)
- Click on "Treasurer's Transmittal Worksheet" tab.
- Manually enter electronic Receipts. (this version will not automatically merge)
- Enter green paper PE-500 returns in the 3-mill or 1-mill categories.
- Go to the Transmittal by clicking the "Transmittal Fee" tab at the bottom of the worksheet.
- Enter County name, County number and Reporting Date.
- Enter Beginning and Ending document numbers.
- Enter Beginning and Ending date recorded.
- Enter any adjustments.
- Save file. (Recommend saving in the name of the month and year ie: for January returns, January 2006)
- See bottom of Transmittal Fee worksheet for e-mailing and payment instructions.
- E-mail this Real Estate Transfer Fee Transmittal (P-520) and spreadsheet to:
- utility@revenue.wi.gov
- Click on link above or located on Transmittal Fee worksheet.
- Enter in subject line the following: County Name, Month and Year of Transmittal
- Insert the saved (see step 10 above)
- Click on Send button.
When this Transmittal Spreadsheet and Treasurer Transmittal Worksheet is completed and e-mailed, you do not need to send adding machine tapes or other documentation of monthly totals. Simply print the Transmittal Fee page and send with the green PE-500 paper transfer returns as instructed. The eRETR Receipts are not to be sent to the Department of Revenue
