In order to ensure a working 2-D bar code please download a free version of Adobe Acrobat 6.0 provided on this web page. Next test the printing of the State of Wisconsin seal. If your printer is able to cleanly and clearly reproduce the state seal provided here, your printer is capable of printing a 2-D bar code. It is important to take these two steps before attempting to generate a tax form containing 2-D bar code. If a practitioner or individual taxpayer is unable to complete both of these steps successfully, the 2-D bar code option should not be used.
