  1. How many authorized users can work on my form at one time?

    Only one authorized user can open each account at a time. The account button is disabled when someone has the form open.

  2. If the session times out while preparing the form, how much data has been saved?

    The system saves the data each time you click any button. Any data entered, after clicking a button, will not be saved.

  3. Can I view my E-Filed return?

    Yes, after logging onto the system, choose the account and the return you wish to view. Click on the underlined words indicating the status of the return; i.e. Filed. This will open Adobe Acrobat and display a PDF of the return, which you can view.

  4. How do I print my E-Filed return?

    After logging onto the system, choose the account you wish to print, click on the underlined words indicating the status of the return; i.e. Filed. This will open up Adobe Acrobat and will display a PDF of the return which you can print.

  5. Can I view penalty information?

    It is not visible until the return has been reviewed. After it has been reviewed, it will appear in the gray box on the lower left side of the Schedule A PDF.

  6. Can I view at my return once the assessment is ready?

    Yes, after logging onto the system, choose the account you wish to view. Any changes will have explanations from the auditor.

  7. How do I know when the return has been audited?

    You will receive an assessment notice in the mail.

  8. Should I print out the return, sign it and send it in as a backup?

    No, the return is recorded as received as soon as you click the “ FILE” button. Print the confirmation page for your records. Also, you can check the account history page; it lists information about your filing including extension requests and forms filed. You can print a copy of the M-Form for your own records but do not send in a copy.

  9. Can I electronically file an amended return?

    Yes, if the original has been filed electronically. Log onto the system, choose the account you wish to amend and click the “Amend Return” button. After you have made your changes, click the “ FILE” button and your amended return is filed.
