2-D Bar Code
- What is a 2-D bar code?
A 2-D bar code converts data such as numbers and letters into what looks like a series of bumpy vertical lines. The information is decoded using special technology developed specifically for this purpose. The 2-D bar code is used to help reduce errors which occur while manually processing tax returns. Software must be used to produce each individual 2-D barcode. See specifications for software developers.
