If you have already been assigned your business tax account number(s) by the Department, follow these steps to self-register for My Tax Account. Upon completion you will be able to file and pay your business taxes immediately.
Please read these questions to determine if you should register as a Sole Proprietor (owner) a Non-Sole Proprietor (owner of a corporation, partnership, or LLC filing a corporate return), Business employee, or a Third Party Preparer (not an employee of the business):
If you are a business owner, are you a sole proprietor? If yes, go to option (1) below.
If you have received a letter from the Department of Revenue informing you that your employee withholding account has been given a new withholding tax account number under the LLC name, go to option (2) below.
If you are a business employee or a business owner that is not a sole proprietor, go to option (2) below.
If you are a third party preparer, are you an independent accountant or do you work for an accounting firm? If you are an independent accountant, are you a sole proprietor? If yes, go to option (3) below. If you are an owner or employee working for an accounting firm, go to option (4) below.
