 Changes made to WT-6 Batch Payment XML Schema

  1. BatchPaymentTransmission.xsd schema was added, and four changes were made to efileMessageState.xsd as approved by FTA/TIGERS at June meeting. The four changes to eFileMessageState (these affect the acknowledgement):

    1. Add Jurisdiction element to identify the taxing jurisdiction sending the acknowledgement.
    2. Add TaxPeriodEndDate to identify the period covered by the acknowledgement.
    3. Make existing element OrigTranContentLocation optional, so we don’t need to use it.
    4. Add two enumerations to PaymentIndicator (“No Payment Request Included” and “Payment Request Failed”).

    As a result of these changes, most documents have been updated. Please review them carefully. Prior to this, we were using a proprietary acknowledgement schema. With these changes, we will be moving to the FSET based acknowledgement.
