EFT for Employee Wage Attachment
Online Payment
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue is pleased to offer employers an online method of paying wage attachment monies. Employers who receive a Notice of Wage Attachment for their employee’s wages to satisfy delinquent tax debts will need to log onto our web site and enter employee information along with the payment amount. The payment will be debited from the bank account listed on your registration.
It is not necessary to enter the employee information each time you wish to submit a payment. After your first submission, each time you log in you will be presented with a copy of the last form you submitted and you can update the form with the current information.
Payments are extracted for processing once a day, Monday through Friday, at approximately 4:30 PM. The web site will be unavailable for a few minutes while the extraction takes place. The amounts you entered for the taxpayers will be credited to their individual accounts and the payment you authorized will be forwarded to your bank for debit during our nightly payment processing.
Once the extraction is complete and the web site is again available, a new day begins. If you successfully submit a transmittal form prior to the daily extraction you will not be allowed to submit a new one until a new day begins. Once you have submitted your first form, when you log in you will see either the last form that was successfully extracted or a message informing you that you have already submitted a form for this processing day.
Online employee wage attachment payments must be submitted on the Employee Wage Attachment web site.
Do not attempt to make a payment from the EFT Registration and Payment System web site. If you are already registered with DOR for other tax types, you can add employee wage attachment payments as a tax type code at EFT Registration and Payment System.
