Real Estate Transfer Workshops
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue invites you to attend a FREE and informative Real Estate Transfer (eRETR) workshop in various cities across the state.
Recent legislation (2007 Act 219), creates stricter confidentiality standards for real estate transfer returns and requires that all real estate transfer returns be filed electronically on or after July 1, 2009. Take the opportunity now to become familiar with how easy the eRETR system is to use.
Some other benefits of filing electronically are:
- reduced printing, storage and handling costs
- reduction of rejected returns
- e-mail alerts
To see specific information about a workshop, select the city you are interested in. Additional cities will be added as workshops are scheduled.

Attention Attorneys: The Department of Revenue has applied for CLE Credits for the eRETR workshops including all those held in 2008.
